AutoSave enables saving automatically when editing files.

⚠️ This extension is redundant as of Nova 8. Instead, please enable automatic saving in Nova Preferences at Files > Saving > Automatically save documents > when losing focus.

Usage

Enable the AutoSave extension in Nova’s Extension Library. Changes will then be saved automatically 3 seconds after you stop editing.

Version 2

Saving now occurs with a 3 second delay, which should improve reliability, reduce excessive disk writes, fix incompatibility with trimming trailing whitespace, and make it possible to use auto-completion.
