[Known Issues]

  • Currently cannot use STDIN processing (which would increase performance) for linting content, instead of linting temp files. This is currently blocked by PHPMD, reference https://github.com/phpmd/phpmd/issues/882.
  • there are some deprication warnings related to PHPMDs file handling. We'll hope these get resolved soon in future updates when PHP 8.1 is fully supported.
  • PHP 8.1's Enums are not yet supported.
  • Linting standard file reference is absolute, not project-relative. This is something that will be fixed soon in this extension.
